The Email I Received Yesterday That Proves The Man I’m Going To Marry Is A Very Good Sport. And That I Have Trouble Remembering My Passwords, And Desperate Times? Well They Call For Desperate Measures:

February 8th, 2007

Honey,

I changed our Verizon Wireless password because never again will I find myself in the position of having to stand before someone, in person, and have to tell them that our account password is ‘2legit2quit.’

Daddy no can do.

New password is: (something less M.C. Hammer-esque)

Thoroughly humiliated,
me

that’s too bad. it was a very nice password.

I think that if you have to tell someone, in person, that your password is 2legit2quit, you should at least do the dance that goes with it, whatever it was. There was some sort of dance, complete with baggy pants, yes?

    ——
Jenn! NO, No! baggy “Hammer” pants were involved in the making of this scene, thankfully. But it seems fitting to herein admit that my dad wore his pair for YEARS, until my sister and I finally threw them away when he wasn’t looking.

It’s even funnier because I’ve used it before.

At least the password didn’t require you to dance too…

I agree that dancing should definitely be involved… :)

When he says it, is he required to do the 2Legit hand movements?

    ——-
NO. But I SO wish I would have thought of that.

Too funny! The passwords I pick out are designed to be totally embarassing, too. I hope my husband never has to utter one of them out loud.

    ——
I had no idea! he would have to say it aloud. But I have to admit, it was pretty entertaining to know he did.

And please tell me that you HAVE to do the finger sign things when you say your password. (You know what I’m talking about, right?)

    ——
Indeed! I do. But, alas, no finger gestures were required. Next time!

Hilarious; I love it! Also, I’m a bit spooked, because I once had the following password: “word2urmother.” Klassy!

ha ha ha! That is too funny. I bet you have some awesome names picked out for future pets or children too!

    ——
You are so on to us. * looks around suspiciously * What? Future names already selected? And written down? In alphabetical order? No. Not us. No siree. Ahem.

somehow this reminds me of the time my DH had me PAGED across the office to spell check something for him - WORD apparently wasn’t “picking it up” since it was spelled CORRECTLY!
