WeekendUpdate:Random!Edition
Friday:
I woke up without incident. Went to work without incident. And began feeling impulsive around noon. I have a co-worker who lives for being impulsive, and who couldn’t wait to capitalize on my surely fleeting flight of spontaneous fancy. Thus, star tattoos! On our lunch-break! Well, naturally:
I am now forever star-struck, as it were:
I am also quite smitten with them. Especially the part where they didn’t hurt at all, but tickled once:

Saturday:
Chris cooked a delicious looking (and tasting) dinner:
Chris waxed philosophical about the nature and importance of The Green Bean:

All day long:
I decided I might need some clean clothes to wear next week. You know, in theory:
I also decided there is something about a warm bowl of refried beans on a cold and rainy Sunday that warms both the stomach and the heart:
Fast forward to Far Too Many Hours Later, whereupon I am still awake and drinking coffee and suddenly realizing I have to be at work in 5.5 hours. Which is, consequently, not awesome:

that is so great! I wish I could find someone to be spontaneous with…I will have to work on one of my friends getting a tattoo with me, then perhaps Caleb will be convinced that tattoos are way cooler than he thinks and then he will get one and we can have a club.

Make sure you almost trip when you start to walk up the stairs to the “art studio” where you are supposed to get this ultra cool tattoo, but then, at the last minute, catch yourself! because, hey, you are ultra cool. Ahem.

I’m slightly jealous of the allday downpour. I know, I know, but my head hurts with all the damn sunlight, nonstop, allday everyday. We had a little rain the other day, and it was like this little wimpy sprinkly thing that had no power behind it. Blah.

Oh, they are definitely permanent. It just didn’t hurt. Tickled a bit. But no real pain. They aren’t big, and it’s my second tattoo. The first one didn’t hurt either. :)
that’s the coolest tattoo i’ve ever seen. EVAR. (well that and maybe this guy who had a tattoo around his belly button of a woman with her legs spread open. uh huh. though i suppose that was more perverted rather than cool. so YOU WIN.)
