“Ah, old Van Morrison. Yes.”
“Van Morrison. Of ‘The Doors’ right?”
“Um, no honey. That’s JIM Morrison.”
“Oh, right. I always! get them confused.”
“Because Van Morrison sounds NOTHING like Jim Morrison?”
“No, because they have the SAME LAST NAME.”

“Hey, where did you get those moccasin things you’re wearing?
“These? I’ve had these.”

While we were in Mobile this past week we spent copious amounts of quality family time, including but not limited to watching old 8mm reels of home movies from Chris’ diaper-clad days, a cozy dinnertime conversation centering on the various degrees to which Nancy Grace is probably annoying, and games of Scrabble and Bookworm that [...]

After a less than ideal Monday Chris sees fit to:
a. Surprise me with happy hour at a local favorite brew house.
b. Email me this picture from the bathroom of said favorite brew house:

I just had to play IT Tech Support for our new phone system, plugging in wires, disconnecting the server, mostly on accident, because it was improperly connected and the server wasn’t even in the right place. I’m seriously sweating right now.
